An-An Photoshoot Article 14.2.07

Hi everyone :) First post in the community! Hope everyone's well ^_^ I bought the An-An magazine the other day and have spent the last two days writing a tentative interpretation of the article that goes with it. It's not an interview, and to be honest it was quite pretentious and silly, but I thought maybe some of you might like to read it as it goes along with the photos. The article itself is only a few paragraphs, an introduction on the side of the photo of Jun fully-clothed and a little spread along the double-spread photo of Jun and the Russian model in bed.


Main Headline text:

Boy and man. Matsumoto Jun's look, voice, mannerisms.... The charm of both sides is delicious, and bewilders our hearts. Now, for the first time opening up to us, from this supple yet manly body we can wish to feel the true love of men.

For a body with everything else peeled off, the characteristics from which we can understand the degree of a man's strength or weakness become starker. Anything and everything is exposed.
It's not just supple muscle and frame, the lust of the moment of undress.
Movement.
Warmth.
The moisture and self-confidence in the pupils.
At this time, Matsumoto Jun is an overpoweringly strong person. Such a thing as "manliness" is a little more elusive when naked than when fully kitted out, and it is something that is "felt". That firm speech and manner, the smile that from time to time breaks through and undoes the barriers, the body becomes the base for everything, becomes the origin, giving birth to and becoming self-confidence.
The entirely bare body can be wounded easily, but it displays more - and nobody can see it. So, this 23 year-old body is a stark extent of atractiveness.

I found some of the things in this article really hard to put into English, so I hope I did an ok job. I started off just bored with something to do, but I have to say the article was not what I was expecting... XD

...god, he's gorgeous. Some of the wording of this definitely makes that evident. heh.

wow, thank you for translating! i'd agree it's a bit pretentious... but at least it's practically worshipping MatsuJun-sama ^.~ if i suspend disbelief i can lose myself a little in the words and imagine how MatsuJun must have behaved while they were doing the shoot! ^___^

it was super over the top.like those moments in anime when the characters stop for a moment and reflect and try to be all deep and sensitive, totally annoying.
